Why I created The Edit
A big part of why I created The Edit is because I’ve lived the version of business that looks successful on the outside but doesn’t feel good behind the scenes. I was working constantly, structuring my entire life around my business, and still feeling like it wasn’t enough. At one point, I could feel myself burning out and losing my love for photography.
Over the past 12 years, through working with coaches, refining my systems, and being honest about what wasn’t working, I rebuilt how everything fits together. Now I take painting classes on Monday afternoons, Fridays are mine, weekends are reserved for my family, and I schedule clients in a way that supports my life—not the other way around. I’m making more than I ever have before, with clients I genuinely enjoy working with.
